1.  Open System Preferences/Settings. Press the CMD+space bar and type system preferences/settings.

2.  Navigate to VPN setting. We recommend searching through the search bar.

3.  Click on the 'Add VPN Configuration' then select 'L2TP over IPSec'.

4.  Please fill in the following fields:

• Server Address: chariot.uog.edu
• Account Name: username
• Password: password
• Shared Secret: shared_secret.

The username, password, and shared secret will be provided via email.
Then click create.

5.  On the left hand side, please click on options. Then enable 'send all traffic over VPN connection' field.

6.  When you are ready to use the VPN, navigate to the VPN settings as shown in step 2 and enable the VPN.

7.  When you are done, navigate to the VPN settings as shown in step 2 and disable the VPN.
